Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump is already unleashing attacks on his most likely new rival in the 2024 race for the White House.

At a rally last night in North Carolina, the former president accused Vice President Kamala Harris of deceiving the public about President Joe Biden’s mental fitness for office before he dropped out of the race.

“So now we have a new victim to defeat. Lyin’ Kamala Harris, lyin’, l, y, i, n, apostrophe. The most incompetent and far-left vice president in American history,” he said.

Trump also focused on her administration role, blaming Harris for the border crisis since Biden had put her in charge of securing the southern border.

As we reported in 2022, Harris had been tasked with overseeing the border but hadn’t visited the region in more than a year, while Biden hadn’t seen the border in person in more than a decade.

Meanwhile, Harris fought back against Trump on Thursday while speaking at a teachers’ union convention in Texas.

She called Trump an “extremist” and criticized Republican views on guns and education.

“While you try to create safe and welcoming places where our children can learn, extremists attack our freedom to live safe from gun violence. They have the nerve to tell teachers to strap on a gun in the classroom,” she said.
